The default self-serve limit is 5 requests/second. Finance Research does not support `source_control` or `output_schema`; use general Research for those controls.

Poll both status metadata and the final result of a background research task. This is the non-streaming polling operation: it returns queued/running/completed/ failed/cancelled status, timestamps, original input, and errors. `result` is null while work is in progress and contains the cited final answer once completed. It does not open the provider's SSE endpoint. Research is limited to 10 requests/second; callers should poll accordingly. Frontier tasks may take 30-12000s (p50 300s).
